Our next meeting is:

Saturday 9th March

TIME: 11.00-16.00 (please note earlier start time)

LOCATION: St Mary Abbotts Centre (Big Hall), Vicarage Gate, Kensington, London W8 4HN

The AGM will take place in the morning.

The Faith Eaton Cup (formerly the Terrot Cup} and the Florence King Memorial Plate entries will be judged during the  afternoon.  The Coleman Award for contributions through writing to further our knowledge, will be presented.

The Faith Eaton Cup is awarded for handmade dolls clothes, sewn by a member of the club, and the Florence King Memorial Plate (formally known as the Commemoration Award) is for a knitted or   crochet outfit for a doll of any size.  For both the competitions it is the clothing which will be judged, not the doll.  The clothing need not be displayed on a doll.  Please bring your entries to the AGM.

The afternoon talk will be on Queen Victoria’s Dolls, presented by Carol Cameron

Please bring along Grodnertals 3” to 9” pre 1850 for the Show and Tell

Following the success of last 2 years sales, we are having another ‘Sale of the Year’.

Members are encouraged to bring quality doll/dolls house related items to sell (tagged, clearly showing the price and the sellers name), volume wise anything from 1 – 2 items to one table max.  There will be no charge for space – instead sellers will be asked to donate 10% of their takings to club funds, up to max £50.

The Silent Auction items will be the Ana Syrian refugee dolls, examples of which have previously featured in Plangon, and at a couple of meetings.  All proceeds will go into the charity pot.

The quilt squares competition will be judged, and the quilt(s) will be raffled, and if you would like tickets but are not attending please contact Margaret Hobbs.

Tickets will be priced at £5 each, all proceeds going to club funds.

Please bring a packed lunch.
